Taking care of women is the responsibility not only of gentlemen but also of employers. After all, the beautiful half of humanity always deserves not only loud slogans about equality and flowers for the holidays, but also a special attitude. LIС has thus launched an indefinite program of medical support for our employees, especially now, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event was timed to Mother's Day. Therefore, in order for everyone to be able to use medical services, the program of medical examinations of LIС employees was expanded throughout the year. The company's management and personnel management have carefully selected a modern medical company that will examine our employees. Each participant of the program chose a set of medical services. In addition, the woman could choose which narrow-profile specialist to turn to. After all, some of our employees live in nearby villages and are unable to get to the right specialist in time.

“There is one approach for everyone - for example, to examine the internal organs, thyroid gland, do a mammogram. And if someone is worried about pain in the arm or leg or eyes, or the need for consultation with an endocrinologist, surgeon, then this can be obtained," - explains the head of the Personnel Department Olexandra Oliynyk.

Therefore, according to the list of 150 employees, four women per day, according to the agreed preliminary record, so as not to wait in line for the examination. If a woman underwent a medical examination and was found to have concomitant needs, for example, tests had to be completed, etc., this was also added to the complex chosen by the employee.

The program of women's medical examinations was introduced for the first time at LIC. The Human Resources Department said that women liked this innovation very much. At first, of course, the ladies were a little worried, but then they visited the doctors and were satisfied - because of inspected the latest equipment. And the employees of the medical center have done so that there is no need to look for anything, the employee is completely led to the necessary offices. In addition, the examinations were planned for the women's weekend so that the man would not be concerned about work difficulties, but would devote time to what is important - his health.

"We do not collect information about who is sick and so on, this information is confidential - only the employee has such data," said the head of the Personnel Department Oleksandra Oliynyk. She added: also workers with harmful working conditions have a medical examination every two years, which is financed and organized by the LIC. Such people have all the official compensation in accordance with current legislation - vacations, milk, surcharges, night work, etc. "In addition to the requirements of the law, we set our own additional surcharges, benefits for people who are at risk of dust, temperature, noise. "We provide such compensation for harmful working conditions," said Oleksandra Oliynyk.

If both people and doctors have reservations about working conditions, the LIC offers options. Doctors are sending conclusions, saying that the worker's health needs to be improved, so the employee is transferred to another job. However, we all hope that all women and all men of LIC will be healthy. After all, each of them is an important part of the team that knows how to do miracles.
